What Is Sandy Plains Like?
Welcome to sandy plains
You will find a church that is faith filled, full of hope, Bible based and growing. Below you will find information and links to help you connect at Sandy Plains.
What to Expect
We are from all kinds of life situations and backgrounds, but at Sandy Plains Baptist most of all we are family in Jesus Christ.
Where? We meet for worship @ 5323 Union Rd., Gastonia, NC 28056 in the large Family Life Center (we outgrew the older chapel).
When? We meet @ 10:30 am Sundays for Worship. The worship experience lasts 1 hour. There's also an evening prayer service @ 6 pm that is about 45 minutes long. Guests always welcome at both worship services any week.
What? There is an authentic group of friends seeking to grow in their faith. There will be worship songs sung by a praise team, band, and choir. There will be lyrics on the screen so you're able to sing along easily. There will be a Bible-based message from the Lead Pastor for real life that lifts up the name of Jesus. In addition, it is an opportunity for new friendships.
Style? There are lots of different styles of dress. Come as you are. Many do contemporary casual. It's entirely up to you.
What else? We are a church that is a great place to connect. We believe there are no perfect people among us. You'll find we're about God's grace and mercy in Jesus Christ who is a great Savior, and a place to grow stronger in truth.
Small Groups? It's always good to build relationships with other Christians. We welcome you to try any Small Group for fellowship, how the Bible impacts life today, and prayer requests. These are mainly at 9:30 am Sundays, or Wednesdays 6:45 pm. There's one for for all ages or life situations. Children's ministry also has ministries available to your family during the same times.
Bottom line, there's something for you, and we're ready to walk by faith in Jesus alongside you as a church family.
What We Believe
It is our desire to create disciple making communities. We do this through reaching people, teaching them to love and serve Jesus, and sending them to reach, teach, and send others.
